May

May and Brendan became fast friends after she moved to his hometown. They got along famously and while it was clear she had a crush on him, the same could be said for his crush on her. The two have been separated by fate at this point, but he'll be none too happy when he finally gets to see her again.

Dawn

Dawn liked contests. He liked contests. Therefore, he likes her. She's really pretty and has similar attitudes to his. He wants to get their schedules to line up better so he can talk to her more.

 

Rosa

Brendan only interacted with her once, but she was one of the first faces he befriended on Delta Stream Academy. She was nice enough, and their shared enthusiasm over contests was a real plus. He hasn't seen her around lately and wonders where she's gone to.
 

Red

Red is a trainer many other trainers look up to, and Brendan is one of them. He isn't exactly friends with the man, but he wants to be. The guy is so cool and talented and...

 

Bronte

Brendan has known Bronte since he was level 20. Though Verdegris was his first pokemon, while he doesn't like to play favorites, Brendan has become  unexpectedly close to the Tropius.

 

Johanna

Johanna's a Goodra he's gotten to know pretty well. She likes books a lot while he likes books ... a little. Still, her enthusiasm over them is contagious, and he's taken up the hobby for reasons to talk to her more.
